Selling

(Q) Do you charge site fees?
|
|
(A) Our Auction Listings are free and we do not charge any END-OF-AUCTION fees. Modest site fees are charged for: Second Category Listings, Bright Bulb Listings, Bold Item Listings, Category Featured Listings, Home Page Featured Listings and Online Stores. |

(Q) How can I list an item?
|
|
(A) You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Sell" link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description |

(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm selling?
|
|
(A) You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your members area and selecting
the "selling" page. |

(Q) Can I revise|change my auction listing?
|
|
(A) Yes, you can revise|change your auction listing by Logging into your account, clicking on the "Selling" button and choosing the item you want to revise. You can revise your auction listing as long as 24 hours remain and no bids have been placed. |

(Q) Can I use HTML when listing an item?
|
|
(A) Yes you can, however we recommend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly. |

Bidding

(Q) How can I place a bid?
|

(A) To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in a bidding box will be displayed at bottom of all auction pages. You can use this box to place your chosen bid |

(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on?

(A) You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting your members area and selecting the "bidding" page. |

(Q) How do I know if I am outbid on an item?

(A) Our auction system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid. |
|
(Q) Why do you extend auctions by 10 minutes?
|
|
(A) We believe that a true auction site should give bidders a chance to win an auction if they have been outbid in the last minute. This gives you a chance to submit a higher bid if you recieve an outbid email message. |

Item Swapping

(Q) What is item swapping?
|
|
(A) You can now swap your items with other members. Just choose the option "Accept Swap Items" when listing your auction. Other members will be able to offer you other items in exchange for your auction listing. |

Auction Watching
|
|
(Q) What is auction watching?
|
|
(A) Auction watch feature notifies you of newly listed auctions which contain “keywords” you have chosen. For example if you are looking for a “bottles” you could enter in those keywords from within your member’s area. Each time a new auction is listed containing the term “bottles” you will be notified via email that the auction has been listed. You can enter in as many keywords as you like. |

Item Watching

(Q) What is item watching?
|
|
(A) Item watching lets you keep a close eye on any auction without having to place a bid on it. This feature means you can be kept up to date on how an auction is doing and prepares you to place a winning bid. You can watch any auction by clicking on the “Watch this item” link on any auction page. |

Wanted Ads
|

(Q) How do the wanted ads work?
|
|
(A) List a new wanted ad and wait for sellers to contact you with offers. If you receive an offer your happy with you can bid on the item! Browse the wanted ads and if you see one that matches an item your selling, you can make the buyer an offer. |
